Following liaison with our software vendors we have identified an issue and a workaround has been applied. Based on early tests, this seems to have resolved the issue. We are aware of the performance issues that some staff and students are experiencing on certain models of machines and have been investigating these as a priority. We have made progress with narrowing down the factors that are contributing to the issue and have escalated with the relevant supplier to reach a solution.
